As you know, we started hosting Crank events in Denver a little over two years ago. Since then, we have had about 100 people benefit from the material. For a while now, we have been trying to figure out how to lower costs, make travel easier, and empower more painting contractors with access to this fundamental business information. Then COVID-19 crashed in like the Kool-Aid man while we were hosting Crank Spring 2020. We had a great time and experienced our best Crank event yet. The pandemic provoked what was already in the making; on May 4, 2020, we launched a Kickstarter campaign to enable Roadmap to Profit – an online course rooted in the curriculum of our Crank events, but so much more. By 10 pm MST that day, our supporters had fully funded the campaign, and now we are well on our way to building an online course that will forever transform what I do through iMay Media. We hope to launch our Beta class on June 8th 2020.
In Roadmap to Profit we will be covering my journey into painting, the Three Phases of Business, the importance of financial accounting and forming systematic processes for your business, and of course, marketing and sales fundamentals. These are the foundations we all need to grow and build a sustainable painting business that allows us to live the life we LOVE – not the business Nick May built, or the business that others say you should build, but a business that serves you and allows your family to thrive.
